How Experienced Are You?

I need your help. The number of visitors to Sublime Light has been rocketing skyward for some time now. I keep cranking out articles, and visitors keep coming. This is a good thing. The problem is, I know absolutely nothing about any of you. Without knowing a little about you, I can’t tailor my articles to best suit you. And I do indeed want to make the articles as useful as possible.

To try and fix this, I’m going to post a series of polls from time to time, hoping to get to know you all better. I do hope that you’ll take the ten seconds it takes to respond. If you’re reading this in a feed reader, please help me out and open the article and respond to the poll. With your help, we can make Sublime Light the coolest resource around.

Here we go, the first poll.

As a portrait photographer, how experienced are you?

    Tim,

I clicked through from a feed reader (google reader) and took the poll. However, you should know that your entire post didn’t show up. Here’s what was shown in the reader:

I’d suggest changing your settings so that your entire post will show up for subscribers using a feed reader - a lot of people reading your post today won’t see the part asking them to click through to the poll, so you could potentially be missing out on a lot of responses.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the heads-up Travis. Much appreciated. I just took a look at the feed in Google Reader, and you’re right, only a little bit shows up. But when I look at the feed in Thunderbird, the full post shows. I have my settings so that the full post shows in a reader. I think it’s a Google Reader thing. Bummer. Hopefully people will get the idea and follow the link.

    Thanks again!
