Welcome Back…To Some Of You

backbone.jpgWhen you change over to a new hosting service, there’s an unfortunate side-effect: down time. I flipped the switch yesterday to bring traffic from the Blogger version of Sublime Light over to my new Wordpress driven site on my own host. When you do this, it takes up to a few days for servers the world over to recognize the change. Meanwhile, the server that you’re using to find your way around the internet tells you that you can’t get to Sublime Light. Heck, even I didn’t have access to my own site for about four hours yesterday.

So I apologize for the gap in availability over the last 24 hours or so. Traffic is trickling back in. As of right now, about half of the world has access to this site. In another 12 hours or so most of the world should be good to go. Tomorrow, we should be back to business as usual.

I should also mention that if you subscribe to the Sublime Light feed, you won’t see any of my new articles until this issue is resolved. Feedburner hosts the feed for this site, and they don’t have access to it yet like many of you. Until they have access, they can’t forward the articles on to you. This should also be fixed later today or tomorrow.

Thanks for reading!
